Speech Pathologist looking to become a Nanny!

My name is Eleanor and I am writing to apply for the position of a nanny in France. I grew up in New Zealand and am a fluent native English speaker. Since I graduated from the University of Canterbury with a Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology (with Honours) in 2022, I have worked as a Speech Pathologist, specialising in supporting children to learn language, literacy and to improve their communication. At the moment I am living in Australia and looking to move to France in October where I will be able to work under a visa. I lived in France for three months when I was 16 years old and loved my immersion in the culture, language and life. It has always been a dream of mine to return and in a capacity where I can help others. I have always been passionate about helping children to communicate as I believe it is a foundational skill that will help to set them up with the tools necessary to achieve their aspirations. I take a unique approach with each child as every situation is different. I have a strong foundational knowledge and experience with teaching a range of children language, both spoken and written. I am confident that I have the skills to support children to achieve their potential in their individual environments. I have experience with looking after children as I have been babysitting since I was 15 years old. As the eldest child in my family, I have grown up around children and find joy in supporting them to become confident and to express themselves. This experience plus my professional expertise is highly beneficial for this role.
